Seville

Alcázar gardens, azulejos and orange trees, boats on the canal at Plaza de España, Las Setas against a deep blue sky. Seville in May.

Plaza de España

We went to Seville in May. It was amazing. Mornings in the Real Alcázar among Mudéjar arches, clipped hedges and a resident peacock, then slow walks past orange trees and azulejos to the quiet curve of Plaza del Cabildo. Rowing boats on the canal at Plaza de España, the timber canopy of Las Setas overhead, and my two favourite people in sun hats leading the way.

My new favourite city in Europe ♥️
